DO YOU KNOW THAT UPCOMING ACTORS/ACTRESSES NOW PAY TO FEATURE IN MOVIES HERE IN NIGERIA?

Things are no longer what they used to be, I could remember back in the days when all these Movie producers used to go about looking for people to feature in their upcoming movies, though it was back in the days, but things are no longer the case now for upcoming actors/actresses because
producers now demand to give them roles with a fee even without any audition. The case is now that, if you are a popular actor, you will get paid for your services but if you are not, you will be the one to pay them for their services.
Depending on the role, Most of these producers collect a fee ranging from 50k-100k, even the so called waka pass, equally pay to feature, the strategy most of these producers come with is that they don't make enough money from movies anymore, that people no longer buy Nigerian movies and as such, they will need all the cast to equally invest in the production of the movie.
It has been gathered that this trend was started by the so called RUNS BABES who are looking for a way to gain fame, and as such proposed to pay producers so as to feature in Major roles, and this was even favorable to the producers because it was an avenue for them to make extra money.
It should be noted that it is not all the movie producers demand money from upcoming actors/actresses before they can feature in their movie. because some are equally in to protect their image and name as a reputable movie producer.
